E.ON Climate & Renewables Surpasses the 1,000 MW Threshold
CHICAGO, April 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- E.ON Climate & Renewables (EC&R) North America announced today that they have crossed the 1,000 megawatt (MW) threshold for owning and operating wind farms in the United States.
"Despite these economic times, EC&R remains on schedule to deliver some of the industry's most efficient wind energy projects," said Declan Flanagan, chief executive officer, EC&R North America. Conflicting Economic Numbers
The stock market rally has many economists hopeful that the end of the recession is near, but the recent unemployment numbers may have dashed those hopes. According to Associated Press reports, the nation's unemployment rate jumped to 8.5 percent in March, the highest in 26 years.
