John entered the field of economic development in the year 2000 and his focus at The Corpus Christi Regional Development Corporation is to attract businesses to the Region. He comes to the organization with a background in commercial real estate and economic development. In fact, he holds the honor of being the only person in the nation to hold certifications both as an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).

 

John graduated from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.

Prior to joining CCREDC, John was Vice President of Southwest Michigan First based in Southwest Michigan where he was successful in completing a number of projects bringing jobs and value to the community.

 

John also served as the President and Board Director of The Commercial Network, an international association of independent commercial brokerage firms, representing 140 major metropolitan areas in the United States, Canada and Europe.

John lives in Corpus Christi with his wife, Regina.
